Traffic in Shenzhen! You’ll never ever see that in Singapore or Malaysia.
Some smart-ass making an U-turn on a one-way road causing another car to drive up the pedestrian path just to avoid this car.
No, it wasn’t any normal or secluded road. It was a 4-lane road right opposite Louis Vuitton with extremely heavy traffic flow in the middle of the day.
- Just to avoid that crazy car who was doing an U-turn.
And you know what’s the best thing? It’s perfectly normal! People will just start honking like mad and that’s it! The traffic police was just few feet away and nope, no summons issued and he couldn’t be bothered. Wow.
In all honesty, it is their national hobby to…
- Drive on the pedestrian path.
- Expectorate as far, as loud and as many times as they can.
- Speaking at their top of their voice during normal conversing. I can’t imagine what’s its gonna be like when they start quarrelling!
- Driving without car plates. To avoid being flashed by red-light/speed cameras.
- Driving as fast and as dangerous as they can! Namely from lane 1 to 4 without checking blind spot. (for real!) Or cut into a certain lane with only half a car lenght (or ever lil) space.
These are what I call hazard road drivers. They don’t just endanger themselves but EVERYONE around them!
One word to describe their driving skills; Brutal. No wonder motorbikes are banned in that city. It’s honestly way way way tooo dangerous. Ah…. Believe it or not. You shall see it for yourself and be your own judge.
HELLO ALL!
research on hk frm virtual tourist! MUST DOS IN HK
FOOD
It's a huge restaurant of 2 floors filled with many familys enjoying yam cha together. There's still a big chance that you'll have to wait for a table though but, it's definately worth the wait! The service is better than most of the local restaurants in Hong Kong.
Perfect for travellers who are up early from Jett lag and are feeling hungry for a light breakfast that's not too greasy!
What could be better?
hahhahahahaah the person describe until damn gay right. but sounds yummy! no pics though
OCEAN PARK. NO NEED DESCRIPTION LA HOR
THE PEAK
There are a few things to do on The Peak.
-An easy climb to The Peak Tower for the spectacular and unobstructed view.
-A two-hour hike on the nature trail from Lugard Road to Harlech Road for the view and the abundance of vegetation, foliage, and flora.
-A good meal at Cafe Deco while admiring the view. (?!?!) dunno ex anot. read that there's HARD ROCK CAFE TOO maybe we can climb the peak in the evening den go HRC chill after that and celeb ahlao's bday?:D
-Stay for the sunset and the view of Hong Kong at night.
LAN KWAI FONG
If you want to have a fab time, head to Lan Kwai Fong, its on Hong Kong Island, and a short walk from the closest MTR Station (Central). Its a area packed with nice bars and restaurants. They all have Happy Hour up until about 8pm at night, and some have it till later, guaranteed a fabulous time!!
If you take the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator, you soon come across Hong Kong's "SoHo," the area "South of Hollywood Road." Here you can enjoy a variety of international food under the sun.
As you walk up the road you'll be amazed to see a street spilling with people partying on the street. If you like crowds and people then Lan Kwai Fong is the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night.
Dress smart. The crowd's upbeat and trendy. (NO FBTS AND SLIPPERS HOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
read that there are xmas parties too. but mostly foreigners!!!!!!!! nt fun. maybe we shldnt spend our xmas at LKF but can go there to chill one nite!! NO MORE SHOPPING FOR 8 DAYS STRAIGHT HOR!!

Festival Walk
is the largest & one of the most upscale in the city. It has over six floors, & takes at least a half a day to explore. To some, it might remind you of the American MegaMalls. Under this mall is the MTR -KCR interchange, where over one million people away change from train to subway & vice versa. It has become one of the most important transportation hubs in Hong Kong.
Many world brand names have opened here, including Marks & Spencer(largest in HK), Espirit, Disney Store, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Escada Sport, TCNY, French Connection, MANGO, Armani Exchange, CHANEL, MAC, Aveda, Estee Lauder, Michael Rene, Tommy Hilifiger ......
In addition to the 200 + stores in the mall, there is an AMC(movie theatre) & Hk's largest skating rink.
It is very interesting to see people skate @ Festival Walk, for unlike North America, there are less than 10 ice rinks in Hong Kong. First of all, not many people in HK like the cold, & second there isn't space & capital(land is very expensive) in Hong Kong to operate large scale skating rinks.
Instead of just skating around, a lot of skaters here hold on to each other to form a snake, & you could see the one at the front struggling to get everyone moving. Sometimes people would get so scared that once the line wobbles, everyone runs towards the boards, causing people from behind to crash into them. This may not always happen, but it's very common.
